This Sock is about the Emperor Penguin. The Emperor Penguin is the largest of all the Penguins. Emperor Penguins live in the Antarctic Ice and surrounding cold shores, The Female Penguin lays the egg on dad's feet. He keeps it warm in his brood pouch. The Colony of Males now move in and out of a tight circle making sure everyone on the ice stays warm. While Males are doing this the Females are out feeding going miles away from the breeding grounds feeding for 2 months. The females come back, they take over the chicks now on their feet and in the brood pouch. The males go feed and the women stay home to take care of the newborns.In December the newborns start to learn about swimming and fishing on their own in the Antarctic Summer.

Wheel House Designs Penguin and Chick Novelty Sock starts on a Bright White background. The Emperor Penguin is beginning right under the Cuff. The Head is looking down at its feet checking on its chick. The Emperor Penguin is Black with a pointed Beak of Black, Orange and Tan. The Colors at the Ear Patches are Dark Bright Yellow and the further back become a Pale Yellow. The Front is White and Back is all Black. Under the Wings are White and Grey is used as Outlines and shadowing. The Emperor Penguin Chick on the Penguins Feet are Black Heads with White Masks, with Grey Outlines for body, his web feet stick out in grey and tan.
